SUZANNE SMITH

Suzanne Smith is an Emmy & Artios Award winning Casting Director with over 30 years experience. Her mentor, Rose Tobias Shaw, was a tough, funny and smart American Casting Doyenne who helped Suzanne sharpen her skills into the Casting Director she is today. Not one to let her dyslexia be an obstacle, Suzanne began her career casting musicals including Tommy, Carousel and Crazy for You. She segued into film and television where she continues to make her mark to this day.

In her downtime, Suzanne enjoys walks with her beautiful dog Annabella and taking kickboxing classes where she's been told she smiles whilst boxing. She also has an unusual talent for not needing a watch or alarm - she can wake up at any time thanks to her own internal clock.

LAURA WINDOWS

Laura started working in Commercials before moving into Film and Television casting. She has been lucky enough to work with many leading Casting Directors in the UK and has been part an Emmy nominated casting team. She was the Senior Cast-Coordinator on the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony, worked in Sydney casting for a year and spent three years on set as an Assistant Director on feature films. She has worked with Suzanne for eight years and has loved the variety of projects they have cast - from deep space to the palace of Versailles. Outside of casting Laura is directing her first documentary feature. Laura is very proud that her passport is Irish and is happiest when she can get to the sea to surf!

CAITLIN JOSEPH

Raised on cinema, comic books and Dungeons & Dragons, Caitlin (naturally) wanted to be a geophysicist growing up. After referencing Shakespeare "too many times" in a University essay on glaciers, she took a left-turn into acting working across Theatre, TV and Film. Caitlin’s passion for championing and working with actors comes from her own acting background. She eventually moved behind the camera into Commercial casting, and joined Suzanne’s team in 2017. Resident horror enthusiast, Caitlin would be a valuable addition to any zombie apocalypse team. She enjoys a long-established and cosy family tradition of watching a scary film on Christmas Day, preferably under blankets and full of snacks.

GLENDA MARIANI

Glenda started being very passionate about Film and TV at a very young age in distant Argentina. She moved to Europe in 2008 as she always dreamed of having her name in the long list of people that contributed to make those beloved projects happen. After working for several prominent London casting offices, she joined Suzanne's team and completely fell in love with a fantastic (not at all biased) project called Outlander. Coming from a multicultural background Glenda is fluent in Spanish, Italian and English and she can keep up in French and German, so if you see her mixing them up, her brain has overheated. She loves working on projects that allow her to draw on her different backgrounds and contribute that knowledge to the Casting process. In her free time she experiments on her colleagues and friends with new cakes, cupcakes and brownies’ recipes.

KATE CALDWELL

Kate was proudly born and raised in Fargo, ND (yes, that accent is real). After over 20 years in LA working with prominent Casting Directors and executives in independent, studio and network casting, which yielded an Emmy nomination, she found herself in her own personal romcom after meeting a Bristolian gentleman at a wedding and jaunting across the pond to start anew. Luckily, Suzanne gave her a casting home where she has been using her American ear for AppleTV+'s Silo and learning to differentiate between the myriad of accents the UK has to offer. When not working, she enjoys traipsing around the English countryside, watching far too much reality television and telling her dog how much she loves her.

Portraits Artist Chloé

ANNABELLA

Bella joined the Suzanne Smith team in 2021. Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, she enjoys flirting with actors and directors, chicken and curling up on the sofa. She dislikes scooters, squirrels and the doorbell.
